Hoist-deployable shears

Holmatro shears have been utilised by fire and rescue services globally for over half a century; now, CORE Nuclear Solutions introduces hoist-deployable shears specifically designed for the nuclear sector. The CORE shear is based on field proven rescue equipment, hydraulically powered for high cutting forces and reliability in testing environments.

With a maximum opening of 190mm and a large cutting force, the operation is effortless. Designed with versatility in mind, the shear features an inbuilt slewing ring, allowing for cutting at any angle, a stainless-steel enclosure protects the hydraulic control system, while manipulator-friendly connectors provide seamless control and power supply.

At the work face, the control panel, conveniently mounted to a trolley gives portability and quick deployment. This MOTS (Modified off the shelf) solution comes fully UKCA marked, needing only a 110VAC (16A) socket to begin works. As always, CORE offer training, testing and a range of customisation options.
