We know reactors and can ensure that they operate at high-capacity factors throughout their expected lives. CANDU reactors require a mid-life refurbishment. The refurbishments we are involved in at Bruce Power and Ontario Power Generation are two of Canada’s top infrastructure projects. In July 2023, OPG returned Unit 3 to the grid, on budget and 169 days ahead of schedule.
