Industries we support
Construction & Infrastructure
Drones are transforming the way construction sites are managed by providing real-time aerial site surveys, progress monitoring, and structural inspections. UAVs help detect potential hazards, ensure compliance with regulations, and improve project efficiency by delivering high-resolution imagery and 3D mapping.
Utilities & Energy
Inspecting power lines, wind turbines, and solar farms can be dangerous and time-consuming. UAVs eliminate the need for manual climbing or costly helicopter inspections, providing safer, faster, and more detailed assessments. Thermal imaging and high-resolution cameras allow for early detection of faults, reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
Nuclear
UAVs play a crucial role in nuclear facility inspections, radiation monitoring, and security surveillance. Drones improve safety by reducing human exposure to hazardous environments, enhance efficiency with high-resolution imaging, and support regulatory compliance through accurate data collection and reporting.
Emergency Services
Drones are revolutionizing emergency response by providing real-time aerial views for search and rescue, disaster assessment, and incident management. UAVs enhance situational awareness, improve response times, and reduce risks for emergency personnel by accessing hard-to-reach or hazardous areas safe.
I have worked with Ian for two years now building the first Worldwide Nuclean UAV-specific organisation based at Sellafield. This has involved Ian developing a set of processes and procedures to enable flying to become business as usual on a British nuclear-registered site and specifying the equipment to enable the safest possible flying. Ian has also acted as our link to the wider UAV community and CAA.
